Councillor, residents show support for Plasco’s trash-to-energy initiative

Close to 60 people attended a public meeting in Ottawa, held Monday, March 21 at the Goulbourn Recreation Complex to learn more about Plasco’s efforts to acquire permits for a permanent renewable energy demonstration facility on Trail Road. Hosted by Ward 6 Stittsville councillor Shad Qadri, the meeting served as the next step in an environmental assessment process Plasco must undertake to achieve its goal.
